Youth Group Fitness Programs

Drop-In and Travel Programs

About Us

Welcome to PowerPlay Fitness! My name is Elise McMahon, and I'm passionate about helping kids build strength, confidence, and a lifelong love for fitness. With multiple years of experience in physical education, personal training, and coaching, I'm committed to providing fun and effective fitness programs for school-age kids of all abilities.

A Little About Me:

I'm 28 years old and have been an elementary physical education and wellness teacher in Foxboro, MA, for the last seven years. I graduated in 2018 from Westfield State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Movement Science and a concentration in Physical Education. I'm currently finishing my Master's Degree at Bridgewater State University this fall, where I'm specializing in Adapted Physical Education and Sport Programs.

In addition to teaching, I have two years of experience as a personal trainer and hold an ISSA personal training certification. My passion for coaching extends to athletes of all levels, from youth sports to high school. Most recently, I served as the Whitman-Hanson Varsity Cheerleading Head Coach, leading the team to a national title and back-to-back MA State runner-up finishes.

Why I Started PowerPlay Fitness:

Throughout my career, I've seen firsthand how physical activity can transform a child's life, not just physically but also mentally and emotionally. I started PowerPlay Fitness to create a space where every child can thrive, regardless of their ability level or fitness goals. Whether you're an athlete in off-season training, a young person interested in learning more about health and fitness, or just looking for a fun way to stay active, my programs are designed to meet you where you are.

When I'm Not Coaching or Teaching:

In my free time, I love spending time with my yellow lab, Bodie. I'm also an avid fitness enthusiast and enjoy working out. When I'm looking for a creative outlet, you'll find me crafting with my Cricut.
